Enammeling

Aluminium is enamelled using a powder coating. This is done in accordance with the VMRG quality requirements and recommendations or the applicable Qualicoat or G.S.B. regulations. It first undergoes the processes of degreasing, staining (2 gram) and the application of a conversion layer. All enamelled Roval materials are provided with a Seaside pre-treatment by default. The required enamel layer thickness depends on the conditions where the material will be installed. The standard thickness is 60 microns. In aggressive areas, as described in the VMRG quality requirements, pre-anodization should be applied. Enamelling is possible in almost every desired colour. However, RAL colours are preferred due to competitive prices and short delivery times.

Some 9 RAL colours are available from stock for the Roval-Standard 60 x 64 mm roof edge. For the Roval-Standard 80 x 64 mm we have one colour (RAL 9005) and clear anodized in stock. The Roval-ClassicPLUS® is available from stock in clear anodized and RAL colours 7016 and 9005.
