Roval works hard on safety of both its employees and its partners. This is evidenced by the VCA (Health, Safety and the Environment) and KOMO (Public Works Materials Inspection and Research) certifications held by the company. Extensive training is also provided for our employees in the areas of occupational health and safety (VGWM / safety, health, welfare and the environment) and general health and safety (BHV / industrial first responder training, EHBO / first aid and AED / automated external defibrillator use). In addition, the New Driving programme has been introduced, leading to improvements in road safety.
The New Driving programme also results in lower fuel consumption. Accordingly we decided that all leased vehicles must be at least category C. Encouraging employees to do more carpooling also has a beneficial impact on fuel consumption. This has allowed us to achieve considerable fuel savings in both companies. Electric vehicles have also been introduced..
To improve the quality of the services we provide, Roval invests in training for its employees (such as forklift driver training, courses in bending and welding and customer orientation training) and also trains customers in the use of our products and the relevant regulations. Our CSR principles are also expressed through our welfare policy, which focuses on social objectives. Roval and Reynaers organise a CSR day every year. A great deal of attention is also devoted to workplace organisation, in which the health of our employees is our primary concern.
